This is VILAF’s largest practice.  The Corporate/M&A teams are busy advising clients in M&A transactional document negotiations, performing due diligence exercises and advising long-term clients on all legal aspects of their on-going business operations.

Below are several of VILAF’s recent transactions:

• Advising Nikko Securities Company as a strategic investor in its share acquisition in a securities subsidiary of PetroVietnam;
• Advising KKR in its acquisition of 10% equity in Masan Consumer, Vietnam’s largest private equity deal to date with a value of US$159 million;
• Advising Vimpelcom Group in relation to share acquisition, restructuring and financing to GTEL Mobile;
• Advising Mekong Bank in the transaction that Temasek acquires share and becomes its strategic partner; and
• Advising Kjaer Group in sale of 75% equity capital in Nissan Vietnam to Tan Chong Group (Malaysia).
