He has been involved in some of Vietnam’s most complex and high-value transactions, including multi-gigawatt LNG-to-power projects, large-scale solar and wind portfolios, and innovative corporate and direct power purchase arrangements. His work frequently supports pioneering deal structures that align with Vietnam’s transition toward a more dynamic and sustainable energy market.

Vaibhav is closely engaged in shaping Vietnam’s regulatory landscape, having contributed to the development of key policy frameworks such as the Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) regime and battery energy storage (BESS) initiatives. His involvement places him at the forefront of market reform and the broader energy transition.

He regularly advises a diverse range of stakeholders, including government authorities, Fortune 500 companies, project sponsors, developers, contractors, investors, multilateral institutions, and financial organizations. His sector expertise spans oil and gas, conventional and renewable power (including nuclear), and major infrastructure projects across roads, ports, airports, railways, urban development, and natural resources, with project sizes ranging from 10 MW to 9 GW.

With over 15 years of professional experience, including more than a decade in legal practice, Vaibhav brings a unique blend of international public sector insight and private sector execution. His background includes roles with the Government of India and the Office of Legal Affairs at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Austria, as well as leading international law firms.
