On March 1, 2018, VILAF was awarded the Most Innovative National Firm of the Year at the IFLR Asia Awards 2018 held at Shangri-la Hotel, Hong Kong.

The prestigious IFLR award recognizes legally innovative teams and deals in the Asia-Pacific region.

VILAF was also shortlisted for the IFLR Equity Deal of the Year for the Vincom Retail IPO. VILAF was Vietnam counsel in Warburg Pincus-backed Vincom Retail’s $740 million IPO, which was awarded the “Best Private Equity Deal” in 2017 at the annual Achievement Awards dinner of FinanceAsia in Hong Kong on January 31, 2018.
