On 24 November 2020, VILAF is named a Best M&A Advisory Firm for the year 2020 by Vietnam M&A Forum. This is the 11th year in a row that VILAF has received this recognition.
The Vietnam M&A Forum is an annual event wherein the Organizing Board and Selection Panel select and declare the annual list of “Best Deals” and “Best Advisors” among the local and international business and investment group in Vietnam.
Two M&A transactions VILAF advised during 2019-2020 won the Best M&A Deals Awards at the M&A Forum, including the merger of Vincommerce to Masan Group and the US$240 million acquisition by Stark Corporation of Thipha Cable and Dovina.
Earlier this year, VILAF has earned other accolades including the Project Finance Deal of the Year by ALB Japan Law Awards, the Most Innovative National Law Firm of the Year by IFLR, and Client Service Excellence Best Overall Firm, Firm of the Year (Vietnam), and Impact Case of the Year by Asialaw.
