Throughout the summer of 2026, VILAF proudly supported several initiatives reflecting this commitment.

Vietnam International Moot Court Competition 2026 (VIMCC 2026)

As an Academic Sponsor of VIMCC 2026, VILAF contributed to the development of the Moot Problem, bringing real-world legal complexities into the competition. Our lawyers also served as judges and guest speakers, sharing their expertise and practical insights with aspiring students during the chain of events.

Members of VILAF’s Dispute Resolution Practice actively contributed throughout the competition, including Counsel Minh Doan, Senior Associates Viet Nguyen and Loi Pham, and Associates Hoang Nguyen, Anh Vu, and Tung Han.

Held from May to September 2026, VIMCC 2026 was jointly organized by Hanoi Law University (HLU), Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), and the Asian Law Students’ Association – Vietnam National Chapter.

Bringing Legal Education Closer to Practice: VILAF’s Office Tours

In August 2026, VILAF welcomed law students to both our Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City offices, offering firsthand exposure to professional legal practice and the opportunities and challenges of an increasingly interconnected legal market.

On 12 August, our Hanoi office hosted international participants of HLU’s inaugural International Summer School, marking the university’s first international summer program.

On 21 August, our Ho Chi Minh City office welcomed students from the Commercial Law Faculty Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law for an office tour and practical training session in connection with the BẢN LĨNH THƯƠNG LUẬT 2026 Academic Competition, which VILAF proudly sponsored. VILAF Partner Quynh Pham also served as a judge in the competition’s final round.
